akt’s partnership with m&s

At akt, we are thrilled to have been partnered with M&S, who have remained consistent in their engagement and authentic support of akt, having partnered with our charity since 2019! 

M&S have chosen akt as one of it’s 36 charity partners which customers can choose to support via it’s loyalty scheme Sparks.  M&S donates every time a customer shops with their Sparks card in store and online*.

 To celebrate Pride, M&S are doubling all Sparks donations made to akt during June.  Since our partnership began 3 years ago, M&S have very generously donated more than £50,000 to our charity, allowing us to continue our work to support LGBTQ+ young people at risk of, or experiencing homelessness.

At akt, we understand the importance of corporations extending their allyship for the LGBTQ+ community throughout pride and beyond. Internally, M&S have shown a long-term commitment to supporting their LGBTQ+ staff within their workplace, and currently have an LGBTQ+ Network with more than 700 members.

M&S’s genuine intent to raise awareness of our charity and internal support of the LGBTQ+ community within their workplace is something we are extremely proud of, and we look forward to continuing working alongside them again in the future.
